Description

Procure Plus are a value focused, not for profit company that specialises in the procurement of goods and services related to both the new build, repair, and maintenance of social housing. Procure Plus wishes to procure and enter into a framework agreement for the supply and distribution of goods and materials in relation to the completion of planned maintenance works within social housing properties and properties across the wider public sector. This framework agreement will operate in conjunction with the Procure Plus Framework Agreement for Installation and Repair to provide Procure Plus customers with a cost effective and efficient model within which to procure the works and goods they require to complete planned maintenance works.

Other Information

In the case of framework agreements, provide justification for any duration exceeding 4 years: The conclusion of the framework agreement takes place after many of Procure Plus customers have set their planned maintenance programmes for the forthcoming year. The 60 month framework term will afford the appointed suppliers the full opportunity to compete for and, where applicable to the lot, secure underlying contracts under the framework agreement and thus they may be afforded the full term and opportunity to recover their investment in participating in the procurement. For clarity, this notice is to provide the rationale to support the decision to procure the framework on a term of 60 months rather than 48 months. The contract notice and procurement documentation in the original procurement explained clearly that the framework agreement had a term of 60 months but it omitted the rationale for the length of term in an error.
