Description

The supply of acoustic receivers, transmitters, replacement batteries and associated equipment for fish and other animal tracking compatible with existing Innovasea equipment and equipment running on Open Protocol programming.

Total Quantity or Scope

Defra intends to award a contract for the provision of acoustic telemetry equipment which will be used for tracking fish and other animals. This contract will include the provision of open access 69kHz and 180kHZ receivers, receiver recovery systems, high residency receivers, tracking receiver deck boxes, hydrophones, replacement batteries, coded transmitters for 69kHz and 180KHz with and without pressure, temperature and predation sensors.The contract is planned to start January 2024 for a 3 year duration. The contract may be extended for an additional 2 years. The value covers the full 5 year contract length. Defra intends to directly award the contract and this notice is published for reasons of transparency.
