Description
The principle purpose of the contract is to identify the ‘best fit’ supplier of all types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages who will play a proactive partnership role in the development of a comprehensive catering service delivery to the wide range of user groups utilising the licensed catering venues of Blackburn with Darwen Council.
Total Quantity or Scope
The successful tenderer will supply all types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to the licensed catering venues of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council. The main sites for delivery will be King Georges Hall, Blackburn and Darwen Library Theatre. All necessary equipment needed for the dispensing of drinks must be provided on loan, free of charge, by the successful tenderer. Any required training for the operation of such equipment should also be provided free of charge by the successful tenderer.
Renewal Options
Procurement process renewal will begin in October 2027 The initial contract period will be for 3 years with the option to extend for a further 12 months. The extension option will be subject to contract review and budget availability.
