Other Information

The UKHSA requires the provision of a waste management service for laboratory waste in its Chilton, Colindale and Porton sites. This includes but is not limited to clinical, hazardous and chemical waste with the services comprising: • provision of labour for the collection, handling and storage of waste; • waste collection, removal, disposal and transportation; • supply of various waste vessels; • supply of waste related consumables; • reporting and record keeping for auditing a performance management; • management of the abovementioned services and supplier; and • social value delivery. UKHSA intends to procure this requirement through Crown commercial Services Dynamic Purchasing System: RM6264 Facilities Management and Workplace Services As required for appropriate quality control, service offerings comprising more than 50% subcontracting will not be considered. UKHSA may also invite interested parties in participating in market consultation. UKHSA does not guarantee direct consultation with all interested parties, rather it will engage a sufficient number of supplier in order to build appropriate understanding of the market in shaping the tender and contract.
