Description

This is a Contracts Award Notice. From 1st October 2023 the Care Quality Commission (CQC) is required to exercise the maternity and newborn safety investigation (MNSI) programme functions previously exercised by the Healthcare Safety Investigation Branch (HSIB), which was a part of NHS England. By statutory Directions, the above referenced contract was transferred from NHS Trust Development Authority to CQC. The contract was initially procured by NHS Trust Development Authority in June 2022 and a Contract Finder awarded contract notice was published on 7 July 2023 for the initial term of 24 months: https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/Notice/3896b5a5-3a6b-4390-81f0-9052e6... The purpose of this notice is to confirm the transfer of the contract to CQC and to re-publish the contract award for the full term, including any optional extensions.
