Description

AFBI require a Contractor{s) for the supply, delivery, installation, warranty, and training of staff in the use of Liquid Chromatograph – Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometers (LC-MS/MS). This tender comprises two Lots: Lot 1: one LC-MS/MS instrument purchased with 4 years’ additional warranty covering breakdown support and an annual preventive maintenance visit. which must be delivered on or before 31st March 2024. Lot 2: two LC-MS/MS instruments with one year’s warranty covering breakdown support and an annual preventive maintenance visit which must be delivered on or before 31st March 2024. In order to future proof both Lots the client has also included other elements to the contract such as additional extended warranty and the ability to purchase additional instruments within the first 12 months of commissioning of the instruments in both Lots; all of which will be subject to need, budgetary approval and agreement between both parties. There are no restrictions on the number of Lots a Tenderer can bid for or be awarded. Therefore, Tenderers may tender for one, two or both Lots as they wish subject to their ability to meet all the requirements for each Lot as detailed in the Tender Documents. Other Information

The successful contractor’s performance on the contract will be regularly monitored. Contractors not delivering on contract requirements is a serious matter. It means the public purse is not getting what it is paying for. If a contractor fails to reach satisfactory levels of contract performance they will be given a specified time to improve. If, after the specified time, they still fail to reach. satisfactory. levels of contract performance, the matter will be escalated to senior management in CPD for further action. If this occurs. And their performance still does not improve to satisfactory levels within the specified period, it may be regarded as an act of grave.. Professional misconduct and they may be issued with a Certificate of Unsatisfactory Performance and the contract may be terminated. The issue of a Certificate of Unsatisfactory Performance will result in the contractor being excluded from all procurement competitions being undertaken by Centres of Procurement Expertise on behalf of bodies covered by the Northern Ireland Procurement Policy for a. Period of twelve months from the date of issue of the certificate
