Description

Hampshire County Council invites applications from suitably experienced organisations who wish to be considered for selection to tender for the Supply and Distribution of Local Produce. The Framework will commence on 1st April 2024 for a period of 4 years and will be divided into 6 Lots (Lot 1 - Fresh Meat and Meat Products. Lot 2 - Fresh Fish and Fish Products. Lot 3 - Cakes, Bakery and Morning Goods. Lot 4 - Speciality Coffee. Lot 5 - Speciality Ice Cream. Lot 6 - Miscellaneous Items). Users of the Framework include but not limited to: Facilities run by Outdoor and Countryside Services; Facilities run by Hampshire County Council Adults' Health and Care; Children's Services sites; Schools. The Framework Agreement is also open to all existing and future CBC Members listed below: as detailed on: https://www.centralbuyingconsortium.co.uk/cbcmembers/

Lot Division

1 Fresh Meat and Meat Products
  • Value: £1M

A number of suppliers to provide fresh meat and meat products to include but limited to: Beef, Sauces Bacon, Gammon, Pork, Poultry and Lamb.

2 Fresh Fish and Fish Products
  • Value: £160K

A number of suppliers to provide fresh fish and fish products to include but limited to: dressed crab, smoked haddock, Fisherman's Pie Mix, salmon, cod, hake, smoked mackerel, mussel meat, red snapper, calamari and Trout.

3 Cakes, Bakery and Morning Goods
  • Value: £360K

A number of suppliers to provide Cakes, Bakery and Morning Goods to include but not limited to: loaf cakes, 16 portion cakes, slices, celebration cakes, bread and morning goods.

4 Speciality Coffee
  • Value: £1M

A number of suppliers to provide Speciality Coffee (beans, filter coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, cups and cleaning sundries). Lot also includes: purchasing and maintenance of bean2cup and traditional expresso machines; purchasing or on loan filter coffee machines and staff training, café design and marking support.

5 Speciality Ice Cream
  • Value: £960K

A number of suppliers to provide speciality ice cream to include To include, vegan ice cream offerings, handheld impulse wrapped products, catering tubs for scooping, soft serve ice cream, cones, sauces and toppings, units and accessories including parasols, plastic spoons, sterilisers, purchased freezers with free stock including service agreement and parts warranty.

6 Miscellaneous Items
  • Value: £440K

A number of suppliers to provide but not limited to fresh, ambient, chilled and frozen products specialising in local produce plus speciality beers, wines and spirits.
