Description

Caerphilly County Borough Council, working in conjunction with the Welsh Government and all twenty-two (22) Local Authorities in Wales is seeking to add Lot 3 covering Teaching and Learning Tools onto the established Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of technology, products and associated services for all Local Authorities and maintained schools in Wales.

Total Quantity or Scope

Lot 3 covering Teaching and Learning Tools of this Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) is aimed at offering a range of products used throughout local authorities and maintained schools in Wales. The products and associated services will include (but not be limited to): Projectors Display Screens - Touch & Non Touch Speakers Web Cameras - Classroom Headsets Headphones Cables, Adaptors and Other Peripherals Specific Teaching & Learning Tools that maybe procured under this DPS cannot be clearly defined at this stage, however full details will be available via the mini competitions and associated documentation.

Renewal Options

Caerphilly CBC intends for the DPS to run until February 2025. However, Caerphilly CBC reserves the right to extend or shorten the DPS validity period at its own discretion. Caerphilly CBC reserves the right to utilise the DPS for any Teaching & Learning Tools for all local authorities and maintained schools within Wales during the validity period of the DPS. Suppliers will be required to provide Teaching & Learning Tools and associated services including but not limited to the Common Procurement Vocabulary codes listed in the relevant section of this notice. Specific Teaching & Learning Tools that maybe procured under this DPS cannot be clearly defined at this stage, however full details will be available via the mini competitions and associated documentation.

Other Information

Caerphilly CBC reserves the right to utilise electronic auctions during the validity period of the DPS. Caerphilly CBC anticipate the DPS will evolve as the related change programme progresses and as technology changes. Future Lots under the DPS may include: Curriculum Delivery & Support – Services needed by practitioners to utilise and exploit the ICT equipment in the classroom. The procurement is to be processed in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (the Regulations) in line with the Restricted Procedure Regulation 28 and Dynamic Purchasing Systems Regulation 34 and administered via Caerphilly CBC’s e-tendering portal-Proactis Plaza. Other bodies within Wales may utilise this DPS via agreement with Caerphilly CBC, please refer to Appendix 2 of the attached Supplier Guidance Document for further information.
