Total Quantity or Scope
Argyll & Bute Council are looking to contract with a transport operator who will provide safe and secure school transport on the island of Islay. Aim of Service: The main elements of the School Transport Service are: (a)To transport children to and from school safely and timeously; (b)To encourage responsible behaviour by scholars; (c)To liaise with Head Teachers or nominated representatives and Council Officers to achieve a high standard of service.
Renewal Options
Contract Duration: The contract duration will be for a period of 5 years from February 2024 with an option to extend for up to a further 2 years, subject to satisfactory performance of the contract.
