Description
Somerset Council would like to invite you to join a Market Engagement Event for a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) which will be used for future procurement activity relating to the provision of Homecare in Somerset. The service will support the Individual with varying assessed levels of need to live at home for as long as it is safe and appropriate to do so. In all cases, the focus is on reabling the Individual to optimise their independence through the provision of personal care, support with daily living and with essential domestic tasks. The Council wishes to work in partnership with Providers in delivering a high-quality comprehensive Care and Support Service. Market Engagement Event - DPS The Market Engagement event will be held on Wednesday 17th January 2024. Purpose of the event: • For Somerset Council to share its plans for a service delivery model post April 2024; • For Somerset Council to go through the end to end process of becoming registered on the DPS and how to apply for contract opportunities. Organisations that take part will not be advantaged or disadvantaged in any way in any potential future formal procurement. Commercial confidentiality will be respected. This notice does not represent a formal commitment by Somerset Council (SC) to undertake a procurement procedure.
