Description

This is a Voluntary Ex-Ante Transparency Notice (VEAT) and is intended to provide notice of the intention of the Authority to award a contract for Early Intervention Vehicles to its incumbent Herts Urgent Care (HUC). The proposed new contract is intended to start on 1st October 2024 ending on 30th September 2025 with the option to extend for a further year. The expected value of this contract is £669,934. The value expressed in this notice is the expected value of the 2-year period. Please note that these are expected values and may be amended post contract finalisation with the provider. Herts Urgent Care has been providing this service since 1st October 2021 and is due to expire on 30th September 2024. The total cumulative value of the contract since it started is £1,957,492 (excluding VAT and excluding the value of this new contract).

Total Quantity or Scope

This is a Voluntary Ex-Ante Transparency Notice (VEAT) and is intended to provide notice of the intention of the Authority to award a contract for Early Intervention Vehicles to its incumbent Herts Urgent Care (HUC) to continue to deliver the service within the East and North Hertfordshire area. … The Early Intervention Vehicle - HUC EiV (Early Intervention vehicle) Service provides urgent community response to people who are in crisis and at risk of hospital admission. This service is available to anyone over 18, registered with a GP practice in ENH area. Service operational Monday to Sunday and Bank Holidays 8am – 8pm Additional information: In line with best practice, the Authority will observe a voluntary 10-day standstill period prior to concluding the proposed contract with Herts Urgent Care.
