Description
NHS South West London is seeking to appoint suitable providers to a Provision of Patient Choice Fertility Services Any Qualified Provider (AQP) agreement. The aim of the procurement is to is to provide a range of appropriate assisted conception treatment services for patients and their partners if they have one (following fertility assessment) who are registered with a GP practice in South West London and who meet the eligibility criteria set out with SWL ICB Evidence Based Interventions (EBI) policy 2023. The intention is to set up an AQP agreement with providers to offer patient choice to these services. The Contract to be offered to the Preferred Applicants at the end of this Procurement will be for a duration of 3 years, which is intended to run from approximately 1st April 2024 (contract start date to be agreed) until approximately 31st March 2027 with the possibility of contract extensions of up to a total of 24 months, subject to any restrictions placed nationally by NHS England or the Department of Health and Social Care. The Contract awarded to qualifying providers shall have no guaranteed value as any income for a Provider will be based solely on the choice of the service user. The Contracting Authority may publish historic, current and anticipated demand for the Services, but this must not be taken to imply any guarantee of such demand in future.
