Description

Consultancy services will be required to support current vessels, future new builds, day to day investigations (technical, marine and safety), and vessel management and policy / process continuous improvement.

Lot Division

1 Naval Architecture and Technical Support

Design, construction, survey, and repair of ships, systems and machinery, with specific experience on passenger vessels and vehicle ferries. Examples of scope: - Structural/stability assessment or Gap analysis of a vessel that we could be asked about operating on another route. - Report on management of LNG in overhaul. - Review of maintenance data to support introduction of reliability centred maintenance. - Provision of technical resource to reduce backlog of maintenance change processes.

2 Marine and Safety Support

Operation and Navigation of commercial vessels, maritime safety and regulatory advice and guidance, with specific experience on passenger vessels and vehicle ferries. Examples of scope: - Navigation assessment with an impartial view. - Review and revision of Marine support documentation (e.g. Masters Decision Support). - Provision of Marine experienced manpower to support preparations for introduction of new vessels

3 Investigation Support

Incident and accident investigation, maritime operational and management experience to support investigation root cause analysis and lessons learnt identification, forensic analysis of material post incident or accident to determine technical root cause. Renewal Options

Upon completion of the initial 24 month term there may be the option to extend by up to a further 24 months, this may be split into two periods of 12 months.
