Other Information
The borough will be divided Areas (Lots) and suppliers can bid for 1 or more Areas but will only be awarded one Area.
The Council is also looking to establish a framework of providers to undertake work that can not be undertaken by either the main contractor or the Area provider. Providers who pass the quality thresholds set out in the tender documents but are unsuccessful at being awarded an Area, will be appointed to the Framework which will cover the whole borough OR suppliers may apply to be appointed to the Framework only.
The London Borough of Bromley ('the Council') is inviting tenders for the provision of Arboricultural Maintenance Services to work alongside the Council's main Contractor to undertake the inspection and maintenance of the Council's tree stock.
Evaluation of the tender will be based on the CIPFA standing guide and in full compliance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015, the Council's Contract Procedure Rules and the stated criteria.
Evaluation of the criteria for quality issues, etc. will also include the operation of minimum score thresholds. If a proposal received a score below the required threshold then the bid may not be considered further. The minimum acceptable score is a requirement to obtain at least half of the available points in any particular area. An indicative use of this model can be downloaded from the Council's website.
Prospective contractors are advised that the documents issued at this time in conjunction with the Find a Tender Notice may be supplemented and/or amended as provided for in Regulation 53(6) of the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
