Description

The Contractor shall: a. Supply and deliver to the Authority up to 20 wheelchairs and accessories. The wheelchairs shall be delivered to DMRC within 12 weeks of the receipt of a completed prescription. B. Provide the Occupational Therapy Professional Lead Advisor (OT PLA) with a quotation for supplying a suitable wheelchair and pressure cushion within 5 working days of the receiving a completed prescription. The quotation should be itemised. Any queries raised with regards to orders from the Authority should be responded to within 2 working days. c. Deliver, and when requested by DMRC SH OT, set up the wheelchair (including pressure cushion/accessories) at the patient's location within 8 weeks of receiving the authority to supply via email. The Contractor shall provide a user guide either online or hardcopy for the wheelchair at this time. d. Identify and resolve fitting problems such as poor fit, suitability or build during the consultation (if unable to be resolved at consultation the DMRC Wheelchairs and Specialist Seating Services (WSSS) OT must be informed within 2 working days). e. Be responsible for the equipment in line with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) warranty whether the patient has remained within the MoD or transitioned into civilian life. f. Provide a cleaning service for the Authority's own loan pool of wheelchairs that will require clinical cleaning alongside specialist adaptations/accessories. It is anticipated that 2 wheelchairs per month will require cleaning. A 1-week turnaround time will be required. This call-off contract is awarded under Framework Agreement Reference: Acute and Community Health and Social Care Equipment Products and Services Reference: SBS10015
