Description
NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde require a Modular Minor Injuries Unit that is situated on site at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, with a maximum allocated capital budget of 300k. Market engagement suggests no alternative solution for this requirement, therefore the purchase of an "in situ" previously rented unit was considered best value, with no disruption to service. Through market engagement the in situ unit is considered the solitary option for the Health Boards requirement. In order to award this contract compliantly, NHSGGC will follow Regulation 32 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations: (2) (b) (ii) where the works, supplies or services can be supplied only by a particular economic operator for any of the following reasons (ii)competition is absent for technical reasons
