Description

The GM Business Growth Hub (GC BGH) wishes to appoint service providers for the delivery of a Health & Life Sciences cohort programme to SME owners, directors and senior leaders that will develop their skills, knowledge, and expertise to enable innovation within their business. The programme will target businesses that employ five or more staff and have the capacity to commercialise innovation through the adoption of new or improved products or services, new to-firm technologies or processes and engage in new markets. The Health & Life Sciences cohort programme is high impact support which is complementary to the one-to-one advice delivered by our team of specialist advisors. This will be achieved through the selection of dynamic sector specialist providers who are able to connect with SMEs and help to overcome their barriers to growth and to commercialise innovation. The successful providers will need to demonstrate their capability and track record of delivering high quality sector specific specialist content. The programme will enable businesses to expand, grow and thrive by increasing the speed of commercialisation within which new services and products are brought to market. All businesses must meet minimum UKSPF eligibility criteria which include: • Size of business: / enterprise: A sole trader, micro business, small and medium-sized enterprise, or large business. It also includes social enterprises where these engage in economic activity. • Geographical trading area: Business operating in the UK (irrespective of size and turnover) • UK subsidy rules i.e. Not received over £315k in state funding over the last 3 year rolling period.
