Description
The Supplier will deliver independent monitoring of the results of the Government of Mozambique's (GoM), National rural water, sanitation, and hygiene programme (PRONASAR - funded via Component 1 of the T-WASH II programme) and conduct sectoral case studies, through the UK-funded Transforming Access to WASH Services in Mozambique (T-WASH II) programme. T-WASH II programme is designed to contribute to a shift in how human capital gains are achieved, by improving water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) and nutrition outcomes for the rural poor in Mozambique and in particular for women and adolescent girls. Building on the previous programme (T-WASH), the UK vision for WASH in Mozambique is to support national strategies and programmes that continue building the GoM systems at provincial and district level, delivering WASH services to poor households in rural areas, and leaving no-one behind. The Independent Monitoring (IMP) will verify progress and achievements against performance-based funds and enhance learning within the programme. The Supplier will verify the robustness of government reporting systems and assess whether results in the field are being achieved. The Contract value is £399,816 exclusive of any government tax, and will end on the 31/03/2026.
