Legal Justification
These supplies can be provided only by a particular operator as competition is absent for technical reasons. No other reasonable alternative exists for this procurement. The vantage frame is required for neurosurgery and is the only product that meets specific clinical needs. These frames are required for deep seeded tumours that require accurate marking that is provided by using these frames. Also used for Deep brain simulation for Parkinson's patients to stop tremors. The absence of competition is not a result of the artificial narrowing of the parameters of the procurement, this product is essential for service delivery and patient care.
