Legal Justification

NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (NHSGGC) and their current supplier for Security Services to Community Sites, have mutually agreed to an early contract termination.

Other Information

1. Alarm Activation (out-of-hours service): in the event of alarm activation (fire or intruder) the supplier is required to attend sites within one hour of notification and identify the activation cause. If necessary, they escalate to NHSGGC nominated employees, the Board’s contractors and/or the Fire Service. 2. Open and Close Premises (planned or ad-hoc): The supplier opens and/or closes Sites as outlined within each Sites standard operating procedure. 3. Manned Security Presence (planned or ad-hoc): The supplier is a manned presence at Sites as outlined within each Sites standard operating procedure. (SC Ref:758892)
