Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of a 5 (Five) year Term Maintenance Contract which will include, but is not exclusive, to drainage minor works, signage replacement, resurfacing, structural patching of sections of roads, Microasphalt, Stone Mastic Asphalt, Hot Rolled Asphalt, Footway slurry sealing in Swindon which have been identified as in need of highway maintenance as detailed in the respective specification and drawings (including the provision of all necessary traffic management to complete the works).

Total Quantity or Scope

Project Description Swindon Borough Council have identified areas in the Borough of major and minor work to improve and extend the life of the condition of the assets. Work designs will be issued over the course of the contract. The initial contract term will be for 60 months with an option to extend for a further 24 months (2 periods of 12 months) for a potential total contract term of 7 years as stated in the ITT documents. Estimated contract spend is up to £20,000,000 across the initial 5 year contract term and between £20,000,000 and £28,000,000 across the potential total 7 year contract term.. Full details relating to the Works are provided in the tender documents. To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents. In the event of difficulties registering as a supplier, please refer to the System Administrator Proactis support team ProContractSuppliers@proactis.com Tender clarifications to be submitted in writing via Messaging in ProContract tender portal by 25 March 2024, 1200 hrs UK Local time. The Council’s responses to these clarification questions will be issued periodically on the ProContract tender portal. Renewal Options
