Description
NHS Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Integrated Care Board intend to award an Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) Contract for a period of four (4) years with the options to extend for up to a further 12 months to Cambs GP Network Limited following a robust Most Suitable Provider Process.
Total Quantity or Scope
NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care Board intend to award an Alternative Provider Medical Services (APMS) Contract to deliver primary medical services from Maple Surger, Hanover Close, Bar Hill, CB23 8EH for a period of four (4) years with the option to extend for up to a further 12 months, the initial term of the contract shall commence on 1 April 2024 and end on 31 March 2028. The contract will be awarded to Cambs GP Network Limited who are the existing provider of services at Maple Surgery following a robust Most Suitable Provider Process under the Provider Selection Regime Regulations. The estimated lifetime contract value is £3,328,989.80 The award criteria is the Most Suitable Provider Process Key Selection Criteria, with a weighting of 100.

Legal Justification
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 14th March 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR

The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 14 March 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR. Representations should be submitted in writing to stacey.thrower@nhs.net. The decision to award the contract is made by the Commissioner 'NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care Board'. Declared potential conflicts of interest were assessed by the procurement process panel and deemed not to represent a legitimate conflict of interest. Key Selection Criteria was weighted as follows: Quality and Innovation 30% Value 15% Integration, Collaboration and Service Delivery and Sustainability 8% Improving Access, Reducing Health Inequalities and Facilitating Choice 7% Social Value 10% Additional questions were weighted as follows: Provider Information 25% Patient Involvement 5% The weighting was determined by the procurement panel to give appropriate relative importance to the questions asked and ensure that providers could evidence and assure the Commissioner through the Most Suitable Provider Process of their skills, knowledge and experience in delivering primary medical services and to provide robust patient involvement through the process.
