Other Information

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intended approach notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The Local Maternity Network System (LMNS) was awarded funding as part of Ockenden for a Black Country LMNS-wide Neonatal Clinical Psychologist (Band 8b). It has been recognised that there are support requirements which no one in the Trusts or Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust could offer. Therefore, a decision was made that the West Midlands Neonatal Network should host this post to enable the support required. The decision at ICB level is supported by Chief Finance Officer and Deputy Chief Finance Officer. The intention is to award a contract using the most suitable provider process.
