National Highways are considering putting in place a new procurement vehicle that will continue to deliver the Legacy Concrete Roads Reconstruction programme. Legacy Concrete Roads Reconstruction Framework will consist of 2 Lots (Lot 1 and Lot 2) and include: - demolition of existing concrete pavements​ - construction of new pavement to meet National Highways standards - changes to or replacement of associated assets as required - Principal Designer duties​ when instructed - preliminary design solution - detailed design solution ​ - Principal Contractor duties​ when instructed - traffic management​ - provision of welfare facilities​ - public and stakeholder engagement and communications

National Highways intends to hold a market engagement event on 20 March 2024 to share details of the Legacy Concrete Roads Reconstruction Framework procurement.
