Description

This contract notice relates to a tender to appoint a single supplier to supply, deliver and commission a peptide synthesiser for the Pure & Applied Chemistry Department of the University of Strathclyde. The system will enable the parallel production of peptides, proteins, and their derivatives using solid phase peptide synthesis approaches. The system will permit the multiple parallel synthesis if this important class of biomolecule for applications in chemical biology, and medicine design. The procurement will include delivery, installation, commissioning and be accompanied by a minimum of 12 months warranty.

Total Quantity or Scope

The Department of Pure & Applied Chemistry within the University of Strathclyde, require a single supplier to supply, deliver and commission a peptide synthesiser. The system will enable the parallel production of peptides, proteins, and their derivatives using soldi phase peptide synthesis approaches. The system will permit the multiple parallel synthesis if this important class of biomolecule for applications in chemical biology, and medicine design.

Renewal Options

The Contracting Authority reserves the right to request additional services from the successful Tenderer, either intended extension of existing services/supply or in replacement of existing services/supply. The Contracting Authority may at its sole discretion exercise this option.
