Other Information

Following the award of these contracts, the Relevant Authority intends to commence a robust competition process to ensure contracts are in place for 01 April 2027 . Future opportunities will be published via Find a Tender. Written representations should be sent to: necsu.psrprocurement@nhs.net The award decision was made by: Primary Care Business Manager (Dental), NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care Senior Primary Care Programme Manager, NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care Primary Care Commissioning Committee, NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care As part of the Direct Award C process, we have requested evidence of key criteria from all incumbent Providers. The key criteria is important as it provides evidence that the incumbent Provider is delivering the current contract along with information regarding their values, beliefs and principles as an individual /partnership/ organisation. The evidence also shows that the Providers can satisfy the proposed new contracts as this allows for continuity for service which will benefit the patients who are in treatment at present. The evidence requested has shown that the current Providers are delivering activity in line with their contract activity, providing a quality service which meets the needs of the population they serve and is continually addressing and reducing inequalities in both service, access and outcomes. It shows the current providers are treating both patients and staff with equality and are continually seeking improvements in social value including their environment. The information submitted by Providers has allowed Greater Manchester ICB to make a decision based on the evidence provided that the incumbent providers meet the key criteria and it gives assurance that they can continue to provide the service within the new contracts.
