Total Quantity or Scope
The Musculoskeletal model for this contract is a co-ordinated system-wide approach that supports and encourages management of patients’ needs at the lower levels of the model, with clear preventative programmes and early interventions, to reduce the volumes of patients who need more specialist intervention at the upper levels of the pyramid.The services are to be provided to patients aged 18 and over who are referred to the Provider via the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS FT (STH) Single Point of Access (SPA). This contract has been awarded under NHS Provider Selection Regime Direct Award C. One of the current incumbent suppliers is Connect Health Pain Services Ltd. They are currently meeting all contractual and legislative requirements as detailed in the NHS Standard Subcontract.The services will be provided under this contract for 12 months from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025

Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 27 March 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
