Description

The service provides inpatient beds, specialist palliative care services which includes outpatients and in reach to the acute trust as well as support to local care homes, a fast track home care service, a lymphoedema clinic, therapy and counselling services, and an out of hours telephone support line. The service provides care to adult patients and support to their families. The focus of the service is to improve the quality of care for patients at the end of their life with the aim of ensuring that patients have the optimum quality of life until death.

NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB is intending to award a contract an existing provider following direct award process C of The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. Approximate lifetime value of the contract is £5,846,625 Contract term - 01/04/2024 - 31/03/2027

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 23:59hrs 27 March 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded. This notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.

Provider representations in relation to this intention to award notice should be submitted in writing to hnyicb.procurement@nhs.net This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR. The contract award was approved by the Place Director (York), Place Director (North Yorkshire) and Place Director of Finance (North Yorkshire & York ). No conflicts of interest have been declared in relation to the contract award.
