The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough region is critical to driving UK growth. Yet, at the same time, many in our communities struggle to access the opportunities that will enable them to thrive. The role that Skills play in addressing this dilemma is central to what will make our region reach its full potential. The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority (the CPCA) is set to release an Adult Education Budget (AEB) and Free Course for Jobs Level 3 (FCFJ) tendering opportunity in the coming months, to deliver Skills course provision across a range of sectors that are critical to the region's economic success and wellbeing - including Digital, Construction, Life Sciences, and Health. The CPCA covers the Local Authority areas of Cambridgeshire County Council, Cambridge City Council, Peterborough City Council, Fenland District Council, Huntingdonshire District Council, East Cambridgeshire District Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council. The CPCA intends to procure high quality adult education and training. This market engagement session is open to suitable Independent Training Providers and will focus on providing an overview of our chosen procurement process. The session will be attended by our Procurement team along with the AEB team who will be available to answer any questions. The session will include the following: An Overview of the Adult Education Budget and Free Courses for Jobs funding streams Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority skills priorities The expectations of Training Providers delivering AEB and FCFJ provision The funding available and delivery timelines The event will take place online, on Friday 5th April starting at 2pm and ending no later than 3.30pm.
