Description

Stevenage Borough Council is looking to procure an Employers Agent for the delivery of The Oval, a development of 330 units, comprising a mixture of private and affordable accommodation as well as new retail and community assets. This is an opportunity for Stevenage to deliver unique development of aspirational and contemporary homes.

Total Quantity or Scope

Stevenage Borough Council has ambitious plans to carry out the regeneration of The Oval neighbourhood centre over a number of distinct phases. The proposals will see the build of a mixture of private and affordable homes as well as new retail and community facilities. The overall proposals will see the delivery of 327 new homes. The scheme is currently subject to a hybrid Planning application, with detailed permission sought for the first phase which include a new community centre and a new independent living scheme of 93 units which both will be delivered directly by Stevenage Borough CouncilThe current planning application reference is 23/00954/FPM Full details of the proposed phasing plan can be found within the Planning application.
