Description
This contract will be awarded on behalf of the Public Health Agency (PHA) in Northern Ireland. It will be for the provision of a Regional Service User Network for Adult Service Users and Service User Groups in Northern Ireland (Substance Use Services). The aim of the Network is to connect groups and individuals with lived and living experience of substance use. Offering support, information exchange, improved communication, contacts, advice on good practice and a regional voice to influence the planning, implementation and evaluation of substance services across Northern Ireland.

The total value of the procurement in section II.1.7) above includes; an initial contract period of 3 years, plus an option to extend for 4 x 12 month periods (4 years). The value also includes a potential increase in services of 20%. In section I.2), it is stated that this procurement is a joint procurement. This is not a joint procurement it is operated by BSO PaLS on behalf of the Public Health Agency (PHA) in Northern Ireland. The first value in section V.2.4) above includes an initial contract period of 3 years – it also includes provision for an increase in services of 20%. The second value in section V.2.4) includes the initial contract period of 3 years plus 4 x 12 month extension period options (4 years) - it also includes provision for an increase in services of 20% as outlined in Clause 1.5.2 of SS20a Scoping and Specification document. It is not a guarantee of uptake or minimum demand.
