Negotiated without a prior call for competition The works, supplies or services can be provided only by a particular economic operator for the following reason: the protection of exclusive rights, including intellectual property rights, SMBC is undertaking a negotiated procedure without prior publication to award the contract to Supernova Events & Esports Limited, Trading as Player1 Events. This procurement has been conducted pursuant to Regulation 32 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 - Negotiated procedure without prior publication (2b): - where the works, supplies or services can be supplied only by a particular economic operator for any of the following reasons:- (iii) the protection of exclusive rights, including intellectual property rights This is a named event that is to be funded through the West Midlands Combined Authority. Player1 has exclusive rights in the UK for the name, logo, mark and all other such intellectual property rights associated with the 'Superdome' brand to be used for the Event.
