Description
Maritime Spares. The Marine Systems Support (MSS) Team, which is part of the ships operating centre within Defence Equipment Support (DES) provides global support to the Royal Navy. MSS has set up a Framework agreement to provide systems spares to Royal Naval Platforms through an established set of suppliers. There is a possibility that during the life of the proposed contract that the size of HM Naval Fleet may increase or decrease. The support contract took the form of a Framework arrangement and has been awarded under DSPCR 2011 regulations. The following Call-Off contracts will be awarded via call-off competitions published throughout the life of the Framework Agreement. Contract notice published on 10th August 2022 with publication reference: 2022/S 000-021946. As a result of the tender, a Multi-Supplier Framework for Marine Systems Support (MSS) Supported Spares for a period of 7 years has been awarded to 23 suppliers.
