Description

Corserv Solutions Limited (CSL) CORMAC Solutions division are contracted to Cornwall Council (CC) for the above-named works which have now gained full Planning Permission, have had a detailed design completed and works underway. Bidders are invited to tender for the subcontract works package, based on the enclosed information and Bill of Quantities. All correspondence, communication and bid submission must be made through Pro-contract. Should your bid be successful you will be required to enter into a subcontract agreement based on an NEC3 Short Subcontract (ECC SSC) - remeasurable. The subcontract will incorporate the documentation contained in this enquiry, your bid information and any subsequent clarifications or agreed amendments prior to entering into subcontract. *Scope of Works (please utilise additional sheets if necessary): CT2100036 Truro Northern Access Road (NAR), Cornwall 1100.20 Kerbing - Main Alignment (Labour and Plant only) Phase 1 - 6,120 m kerbs and edging - starting 26 June 2024 duration 16 weeks Phase 2 - 11,900 m kerbs and edging - starting 27 January 2025 duration 8 weeks Cormac will: • Supply concrete and palletised kerb material free issue to the Subcontractor. • Manage materials delivery, offloading and protection before delivery to the laydown areas. • Manage setting out the back of kerb and top of kerb with 10m pins on straight runs and 5m pins on radius sections. • Provide a minimum of 170 m standard kerb or equivalent per day. • Provide at least 24 hours' notice if a gang is to be cancelled. The Subcontractor will: • The Subcontractor shall be responsible for management of materials after offloading to laydown areas. • The Subcontractor shall be responsible for distribution of materials from the laydown areas which will be located no further than 200 m from the work face. • The Subcontractor shall supply all labour, plant, and equipment (including vacuum laying equipment) and fuel required to complete the Subcontract works to suit the Contractor's programme. The intention is to award the contract to the most economically advantageous tenderer based on 100% Price.
