Provision of MRI Services across the South Staffordshire areas

Total Quantity or Scope

Provision of MRI Services across the South Staffordshire areas for MSK Patients. Following a market exploration exercise this is an intention to award under the Most Suitable Provider Process. The approximate lifetime value £175,000 for Annum. This contract is for an existing requirement and awarded to a new provider. The contractual term is 6 months + 6 months extension.

Legal Justification

This is a provider selection regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the healthcare services (Provider selection regime regulations 2023). For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the public contract regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the decision makers by the 3rd May 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.

No conflicts of interest have been identified or declared in this process. The decision to award to this provider follows a due diligent market exploration exercise completing a capability assessment with providers who are within the Staffordshire georgraphy and have capacity to see the required patient activity levels immediately upon contractual award.
