Description
Online therapy to reduce wait time for access to psychological therapy within West Norfolk Adult CMHT via a range of therapists which cover all evidenced based therapies to match therapist skill/competency with clinical need. All therapists are appropriately accredited e.g. HCPC, BABCP, etc. CMHT in the trust identifies a service user appropriately for provider, they are referred via our link person through to the provider preferably via a portal. The referral is then accepted by the provider who then match the clinical need to a therapist with the desired skillset. All sessions take place online via a platform. Before referral NSFT staff check that the service user is IT literate to the point they can access therapy sessions. Following the therapy sessions the therapist provides a clinical note which is in line with NSFT requirement's for clinical contacts which are uploaded to a secure portal which are then uploaded to Lorenzo. A process for clinician to clinician discussions with the "link person" in the CMHT is required. Following the ending of treatment the Provider produces clinical letters which are sent to GP and trust copied in.
