Other Information

Your participation will also contribute ideas as to how the current services may be improved. WCC is very keen to hear your views. Even if you cannot answer all the questions, please still complete what you can and/or provide short answers as it is important that we get as many responses as possible from a range of providers across the sector to broaden our understanding and inform future commissioning strategy. Accommodation with support provides young people leaving care who are 16/17 years old and/or UASC, with a safe living environment where they are supported to develop the skills and experience to enable them to move safely to independent living in the future. Supported accommodation is not expected to provide 'care' in the same way as children's homes and young people typically have more independence and autonomy.
