The Moray Council is seeking an experienced multi– disciplinary design team with exceptional and specialist design skills, particularly in relation to working with listed buildings to deliver a new cultural attraction and heritage venue for Moray in Cooper Park, Elgin. Moray Cultural Quarter: Grant Lodge Multi-Disciplinary Design Team The Moray Council is seeking an experienced multi– disciplinary design team with exceptional and specialist design skills, particularly in relation to working with listed buildings, to deliver a new cultural attraction and heritage venue for Moray in Cooper Park, Elgin. The reinstatement and extension of the much-loved grade B listed Grant Lodge (1766), sited in a beautiful and strategic location, will be delivered as a key part of the Moray Growth Deal Cultural Quarter project. Bringing this important heritage building back into use will re-activate Elgin’s heritage core creating a unique opportunity for local and visitors to Moray alike to become a meeting place for Moray. A full design service is now required for to take the project forward. This is a single appointment for an integrated Design Team. The Lead consultant will be responsible for the management of all sub-consultants. To deliver the full ambition of this project it is anticipated that the Design Team will include (but not be limited to) the following essential specialisms: Accredited Conservation Architect, Landscape Architect, Interior/Interpretation/Design Concept Specialist, M&E/Building Services Engineer, Civils and Structural Engineer, Principal Designer, Fire Consultant, Energy Consultant. The appointee will work closely with the Cultural Quarter Project Team and the Cost Consultant who will be appointed by the Client under a separate appointment.
