Description
Purhcase of Perpetual Licence for the Bespoke Electronic Patient Record System used by EMRTS Wales
Total Quantity or Scope
EMRTS wish to award a contract to Nugensis Ltd. make modifications to its existing bespoke electronic patient record system to add the following functionality; 1. Server side email functionality to allow the current system to send patient summaries via NHS wales exchange server 2. Development of a functionality to allow hospitals to make a booking from within the system and pass the pre-populated information into the main patient record 3. To produce a formatted server generated PDF of patient summary’s for handover to hospital and to support email functionality 4. To add increased granularity of post incident case reviews, to support audit activities. 5. To interface the system with an existing SMS API to enable text messaging alerts The system in use is bespoke to the service and currently hosted on SBU Health Board infrastructure. Any modifications to the system would require work to be completed by the existing supplier in cooperation with the health board. The award of this contract to the existing supplier will also ensure business continuity with the current system and infrastructure arrangements.
