The University intends to purchase a LagoX Spectral Imaging machine due to the following reasons: The LagoX has a combination of unique features not found in other in vivo imaging platforms that offers uniquely comprehensive imaging ability. This includes: • X-ray • Bioluminescence • Fluorescence • 10 mouse capacity • Patented LED technology • Air cooled camera • Increased sensitivity (MDR 36% above any other system) • Future field upgradable 3D bioluminescence technology • Full compatibility with other imaging methods (CT, PET, SPECT and MRI included)
