Legal Justification

The extension option was included in the original contract. As the suppliers have received no rate uplifts for three years and during a cost of living crisis, we looked for an indexation fitting for the service to link to a suitable percentage increase. The ‘Professional, Scientific and Technical Services’ category within Services Producer Price Inflation (SPPI) is the most appropriate for the services provided for on the framework. The current rate is 4.2%
