Description

This is a directed enhanced service for the provision of general medical services to patients who have been immediately removed from a mainstream GP practice list because they have displayed violent or threatening behaviour, or made people fear for their safety when using a mainstream GP Practice.

Total Quantity or Scope

Patients should be able to access the service between the hours of 8am to 6:30pm on weekdays. Pro-rata cost of £52,000 per annum for up to 20 patients equivalent to a payment of £4,333 per month. Currently from 1 April 2024 to 31 October 2024, with the option to extend for 5 months (to 31 March 2025). And; A bespoke service for out of area patient based on actual activity up to a maximum of £9,000 per annum. Currently from 1 April 2024 to 31 October 2024, with the option to extend for 5 months (to 31 March 2025). The relevant authority intends to award this contract under the urgent circumstances provision under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.
