The support and maintenance of CCTV / ANPR cameras located in the Government Security Zone across a number of London locations. Suppliers will need to comply with specific regulated working standards and regulations, for example the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974). Electricity at Work Regulations (1989). Electricity Supply Regulations (2010). Construction (Design and Management) Regulations amendment 2015: New Roads and Street Works Act 1991. Suppliers must also hold ISO9001 and ISO14001 (or equivalent) certifications. and The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The Metropolitan Police Service is seeking expressions of interest for a future Restricted tender exercise for the above service. The intention is to award to a single supplier. All service engineers must be security cleared to a minimum level at CTC (Counter Terror Check). It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded for an initial term of 12 months with an option to extend for one further term of 12 months. In addition to the support and maintenance requirements suppliers will need the capability to install CCTV ANPR cameras and equipment, network and transmission equipment. All hardware, parts and cameras supplied must be approved by the MPS prior to installation. The MPS reserve the right not to proceed with this proposed tender exercise.
