Description

Norfolk County Council has awarded a contract for its tier 2 weight service for children and young people under the Health Care Services ( Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The service is for an evidenced based service for Norfolk with a whole family and whole system approach.

Total Quantity or Scope

This is an award of a contract under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 - Competitive Process. The service is for a tier 2 weight service for children and young people in Norfolk. A framework agreement has not been established for this requirement and a framework agreement was not used to procure this contract. The contract is for 36 months with the right to extend for a further 48 months ( 2 periods of 24 months each). The contract is to start 1 October 2024. The value included in this notice is for the first 36 months not including VAT or any inflation increases agreed by the Council in accordance with the terms and conditions of this contract. This contract is for a new stand alone service. The previous service was delivered as part of the contract for the Council's Healthy Child Programme. This is a new provider. No conflicts of interest were declared during the procurement process. The decision makers were the Council's Head of Complex Transactions and Sourcing and the Council's Assistant Director - Public Health Commissioning.
