Other Information
The University would be keen to speak to appropriate equipment suppliers to discuss requirements prior to going out to formal tender on the 5th August 2024. Interested suppliers are asked to contact Roger Giddings either by email: r.p.giddings@bangor.ac.uk or tel: 01248 382715, in the first instance. The closing date for tender submissions is scheduled to be 05 September 2024, meaning the tender period will run over the summer holiday period. Prospective suppliers will be required to consider carbon reduction and biodiversity options as part of their tender submissions, along with social value contributions to the project via a Themes, Outcomes and Measures framework. A copy of the proposed TOMs framework is attached. Potential suppliers are also advised that award of contract is subject to funding being approved. Prices submitted at tender stage will need to remain valid for 120 days.
