Description

This Agreement is for the supply, refurbishment, maintenance & repair of vehicle mounted tank equipment, meaning vacuum tanks, recycling jetter tanks and associated pump/pipe work equipment mounted on a rigid chassis cab or supplied as part of an articulated trailer chassis. The framework will cover both waste water and clean drinking water tankers for use by Anglian Water and is for the supply of goods and services.

Lot Division

1 Supply and Refurbishment of Vehicle Mounted Tanks - Trailer & Rigid Tankers

The requirement is for the supply of new trailer and rigid tanks and for the refurbishment of Anglian Water's existing trailer and rigid tanks. New rigid chassis will generally be provided by Anglian Water but we may also purchase new rigid tanker vehicles in full including the chassis from suppliers if available and under circumstances where this is a favourable option. The refurbishment of tankers where required, will take place on a phased programme over the lifetime of the framework. The work is to be carried out at the supplier's premises.
2 Supply and Refurbishment of Vehicle Mounted Tanks - Recycler Jetter Tankers

The requirement is for the supply of new recycler jetter tanks and for the refurbishment of Anglian Water's existing jetter tanks. New tanks are generally to be mounted on new chassis provided by Anglian Water but Anglian Water may also purchase new tanker vehicles in full including the chassis from suppliers if available and under circumstances where this is a favourable option. The refurbishment of tankers, where required, will take place on a phased programme over the lifetime of the framework. The work is to be carried out at the supplier's premises.
3 Maintenance & Repair of Vehicle Mounted Tank Equipment - Trailer & Rigid Tankers, including Waste & Clean Water tanks

The on-going maintenance requirement for trailer and rigid tanks is for planned and responsive maintenance which is carried out at Anglian Water operational sites. The maintenance requirement is predominately to the tank element of the units, but will include an element of equipment mounted on the articulated tractor units. Maintenance of the vehicle components and rigid units running gear are carried out separately.
