Description

The Provision of Gas Servicing and Repairs Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from gas safe registered providers for the provision of gas servicing and repairs. Project Description Swindon Borough Council (SBC) are looking for a Gas Safe Registered contractor(s) to support our in-house Gas engineers, completing, Gas Servicing, Gas repairs and void repairs / improvements and Gas call out / emergency works. Swindon Borough Council has 10,500 homes with just under 9000 of these having a gas boiler to provide heating and hot water. The Procurement will be split into four lots supporting our existing in-house gas team in all areas – gas Safety inspections north, gas safety inspections south, gas reactive repairs, reactive gas repairs out of hours. The initial contract term will be for 12 months with an option to extend for a further 24 months (2 periods of 12 months) for a potential total contract term of 3 years as stated in the ITT documents. Estimated contract spend is between £729,000 - £739,000 across the initial 12 month term. Broken down into lot 1 gas safety inspections north – estimated £197,000 - £199,500 per annum, lot 2 – gas safety inspections south – estimated £197,000 - £199,500 per annum, lot 3 – Gas reactive repairs - £169,000 - £171,500 per annum, lot 4 reactive gas repairs out of hours - £166,000 - £168,500 per annum With an estimated contract spend across the potential total 3 year contract term of between £2,187,000 and £2,217,000.
