The UK has strict regulations governing the management, handling, and removal of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs). The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 outlines legal obligations for duty holders, including property owners, managers, and employers, to manage asbestos risks effectively. The NHS Lanarkshire (NHSL) estate includes approximately 60 properties varying in size from large acute hospitals to small rural GP practices
