Description
Bidders are invited to participate in the competition for the provision of Wigs Services. Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust Oncology and Dermatology departments provides access to wigs for patients that require the need for a wig due to illness. The service provided is not only the wig itself, but the style consultation, fitting and continued aftercare required. A reliable and easily reachable customer service is essential for answering patient queries in a timely manner and managing referrals/appointments. There needs to be a large and diverse range of wigs to choose from that suits all budgets. It is also important that there is an element of flexibility to respond to fluctuation in demand and urgency for the service. This will be completed as a framework call off via the NHS Supply Chain Wigs and Accessories - Reference: 2022/S 000-014714, only bidders who are awarded to Lot 1 will be accepted.
Total Quantity or Scope
Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust provides secondary care and specialist services to a local population of 675,000 people across Portsmouth and South-East Hampshire. In addition, we offer certain tertiary services to a wider catchment area in excess of two million people such as: • A designated cancer centre serving a population of 800,000 within the South of Hampshire. We are also part of the Central and South Coast Cancer Network. • We are home to the Wessex Kidney Centre which is the third largest renal unit in England providing renal services to 2.4million adults across Hampshire and the South of England. The Trust is a clinically led organisation. Each division is led by a clinician as divisional director, supported by a leadership team, with overall responsibility of their division. Each leadership team is accountable for the quality, performance and financial sustainability of their division and responsible for working together across the other divisions to ensure our strategy is delivered and that we sustain further improvements for our patients.
