Description

NEPO is seeking to establish a multi-contractor, multi-lot framework agreement for civil engineering and infrastructure works. It is anticipated that places of the resultant framework agreement will be awarded to a maximum of 6 primary suppliers and up to 4 contingency suppliers for lots 4,5,6,7,8,9 & 11, lots 1, 2 and 3 will be awarded to a maximum of 8 primary suppliers and 4 contingency suppliers and Lot 10 will be awarded to a single supplier. Lots are categorised according to the project value and the geographical location of the project. Suppliers are required to tender in accordance with the criteria as stipulated for each individual lots. Suppliers will be awarded positions on the framework agreement by applying their tendered ranked combined scores for quality and price against the published evaluation criteria. This framework agreement provides a diverse range of civil engineering and/or infrastructure works. This can include individual projects, or programmes of work including: • Capital highway/ infrastructure projects. • Civils construction projects. • Local road improvement / remodelling schemes. • Groundworks and land remediation. • Enabling works. • Drainage works. • Public realm works including paving. • Repair, maintenance or restoration of structures. • Flood and coastal risk management projects. • Structures over or adjacent to significant watercourses. • Civil Engineering in a marine environment including marine structures. • Light rail and associated infrastructure schemes. • Flood resilience schemes. This list is not exhaustive and is intended to provide a general overview of the types of works that may be awarded. Due to the nature of civil engineering and infrastructure there may also be services provided under this framework agreement. All works awarded will be at the discretion of the contracting authority and their internal procedures.

1 Tees Valley - Up to £1,000,000
  • Value: £91M

Lot 1 will cover projects with an initial budgeted value of £1,000,000 within the boundaries of the Tees Valley.

2 Durham, Northumberland and Tyne & Wear - Up to £1,000,000
  • Value: £91M

Lot 2 will cover projects with an initial budgeted value of £1,000,000 within the boundaries of Durham, Northumberland and Tyne & Wear.

3 North East - £1,000,001 - £3,000,000
  • Value: £91M

Lot 3 will cover projects with an initial budgeted value of between £1,000,000 and £3,000,000 within the boundaries of the North East of England

4 North East - £3,000,001 - £5,000,000
  • Value: £91M

Lot 4 will cover projects with an initial budgeted value of between £3,000,001 and £5,000,000 within the boundaries of the North East of England.

5 North East - £5,000,001 - £10,000,000
  • Value: £91M

Lot 5 will cover projects with an initial budgeted value between £5,000,001 - £10,000,000 within the boundaries of the North East of England.

6 North East - Over £10,000,000
  • Value: £91M

Lot 6 will cover projects with an initial budgeted value over £10,000,000 within the boundaries of the North East of England.

7 National - Up to £5,000,000
  • Value: £91M

Lot 7 will cover projects with an initial budgeted value of up to £5,000,000 Nationally.

8 National - £5,000,001 - £10,000,000
  • Value: £91M

Lot 8 will cover projects with an initial budgeted value of between £5,000,001 and £10,000,000 Nationally.

9 National - Over £10,000,000
  • Value: £91M

Lot 9 will cover projects with an initial budgeted value of over £10,000,000 Nationally.

10 National - Single Supplier - Over £10,000,000
  • Value: £91M

Lot 10 will cover projects with an initial budgeted value of over £10,000,000 Nationally.

11 National - Marine
  • Value: £91M

Lot 11 will cover projects nationally and there is no value banding.

Renewal Options

The framework is a replacement for the current NEPO211 Civil Engineering and Infrastructure Works solution. It is anticipated that upon expiry, the solution will be re-procured.
